Irusaq 12th Century Post Imperium: The planet Irusaq orbits an F5 type star, a bit brighter than our sun. Both Irusaq and Nrat-Tuan are in orbit about 150 million miles from this Void-star, and a minimum of 24-25 million miles out from the small dim red star that causes so much havoc with the Iboriisi seasons. Major symbols on Irusaq are the circle or the void; and the triangle - the Imperium, a three-planet constellation, as it were. Astronomancy works by mathematically aligning the two symbols in various configurations, in order to predict the future. The circle and the triangle interrelate naturally i.e. a revolving triangle describes a circle, the three diameters of a circle desribe a triangle etc. A common ritual gesture on Irusaq is the two hands out to the sides of the body after touching the heart - a triangle used to symbolise Man. On the Robe, the gold thread of Life in the black of space and the stars, leads to the life signs of the circle and the triangle. The embroidered oversleeves mean complications, in this case, the complexity of understanding the infinity of space and using it to determine good and bad omens. The various sleeve layers move from tortuous to simple and clear - the sign of understanding.
