First Guildsman of Fishers

Nrat-Tuan, 9th Century Post Imperium: Delegates from the water planet NRAT-TUAN, to the court of the Imperium, wear Robes of office in the Irusaqi manner. Nrati-Tuan Robes, however, are not totally symbolic like those from Irusaq. They tend more to reflect lifestyles, natural surroundings, and climate, of the water peoples. This Robe, that of a leader in the economically-vital fishing guilds, shows stylised sea-creature designs and pleated tail/fins on the body of the Robe, (a classic design feature in all Nrati-Tuan Robes), as well as the use of overlapping scales as a chest and back decoration. All Nrati-Tuan Robes are made in soft, delicate, colours; those of the planet---water, rain, cloud etc. though there are some divisions f colour according to status and occupation. Fishers Guilds are not only vital economic groups for Nrat-Tuan, but also for the whole Imperium, since the water planet is the major source of foodstuffs for Irusaq, who cannot produce enough crops on, what is a relatively barren, planet. Irusaq relies heavily on the trade of her valuable minerals for economic survival. The various fishing crafts are most responsible occupations, entailing great care for the environment and the food chains. Nrati-Tuan inhabitants are very close to their crops, being water creatures themselves: able to stay under water for extended periods; needing constant motion, and water on the skin; with webbed fingers and toes: hair that is subtle living tentacles, though so human-like that they can, with care, pass for fair young Irusaqi.
